By accessing or using the Bright Future Horizon website at bfutureh.org (or brightfuturehorizon.org), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or any of the services offered through it.

Bright Future Horizon provides a platform for individuals and organizations to learn about our work, make donations, apply to volunteer, and apply to sponsor a child. All services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

Our platform is operated from and hosted in the United States and connected to a project hosted on Cloudflare's global network. We serve a Kenyan-based organization working to support children and communities in Kenya. By using our services, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States and Kenya.

All donations made through our website are voluntary and non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by applicable law. Bright Future Horizon reserves the right to redirect donations to similar programs if the original purpose can no longer be fulfilled.

When you make a donation, you are entering into a transaction with Bright Future Horizon directly. Payment processing is handled by third-party providers (e.g. M-Pesa, PayPal, or card processors). We do not store your payment credentials.

Submitting a sponsor application does not guarantee acceptance. We reserve the right to review, approve, or decline applications at our discretion. By applying, you agree to provide accurate and truthful information, and to keep your contact details up to date if your application is accepted.

Sponsor relationships are intended to provide financial and moral support to a specific child or program. We reserve the right to reassign sponsorship to another child or program if the original arrangement is no longer viable, and will notify affected sponsors where possible.

Submitting a volunteer application does not guarantee placement. We review applications and match volunteers to suitable roles where possible. You agree to provide accurate information and to undergo any required screening, training, or background checks as a condition of volunteering.

You agree not to use our website to:

• Submit false or misleading information
• Interfere with the security or proper functioning of the platform
• Attempt to access another user's account or data
• Use automated tools (scrapers, bots) to extract data without prior written permission
• Engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations

All content published on our website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Bright Future Horizon or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent, except as permitted for personal, non-commercial use.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bright Future Horizon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the website or any services offered through it, including but not limited to donation processing errors, loss of data, or interruption of service.

Bright Future Horizon reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the website or any of its services at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to our organization, beneficiaries, or other users.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Kenya.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the website following changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
